It also is common for supervisors to interpret the casino's operating laws for gamblers. Supervisors will also plan and organize activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have leadership qualities and above average communication skills. They need these abilities both to manage staff excellently and to greet patrons in order to inspire return visits. Quite a few casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor's degree. Regardless of their educational background, however, many supervisors gain expertise in other betting occupations before moving into supervisory desks because knowledge of games and casino operations is important for these staff.
